3/24/07: Ok, ok... So an update is long past due. What can I say, we've been busy being students. Here's a little something Chad and I put together a few months ago as Christmas gifts for his family, they were cheap and were a big hit:
News as of 10/01/06: Just posted: A How To on home anodizing. Learn all about anodizing and how easy it is to do yourself.
News as of 9/27/06: Added a page to the completed projects section on making your own tool holders for an Aloris AXA or BXA style toolpost. This particular one was for a 1" boring bar, but you can see how to easily adapt it to any size tool. News as of 8/25/06: Sorry for the lack of updates, it's been a busy month. We have done a good bit more work on the compressed air engine, but I still need to catch up with the write up and pictures. I did manage to put up the piston and crank pin section today however, so go check it out. News as of 7/21/06: Check out the "About Us" section. You can now find out a little bit about us and the equipment we have access to. News as of 7/7/06: A page about stiffening up the z-axis on a Taig milling machine has been added to completed projects. News as of 7/6/06: Another completed project has been written up: Adding a flood coolant system to a CNC Taig Milling machine.
News as of 6/27/06: Corey's 15 horsepower electric barstool racer was added to the completed projects page.
News as of 6/26/06: A broken tap removal tip/trick was added to the completed projects page. If you've ever broken a tap, this is an easy way to remove it without damaging the piece it's broken in.
News as of 6/23/06: The Connecting Rod page is now up for the v6 compressed air engine. Look for more updates after the weekend. News as of 6/22/06: Our compressed air v6 engine project is currently under way. So far the general design and piston pages are finished. We will continue to post more content every day as we make progress on the engine, so please check back frequently. Also, we have plenty of older projects that we will be posting soon for your enjoyment.
